Grammar Notes

Trump’s tweet includes the word “felices”, which is the plural form of adjective “feliz”. We change the “z” for a “c” to form that plural. LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PLURAL OF ADJECTIVES IN SPANISH.

In Ellen’s tweet we find “espero que abordéis”. That “abordéis” is PRESENT SUBJUNCTIVE for verb “abordar”. One of the cases where we must use the subjunctive is after “espero que”.

God’s tweet contains “este”, which is a DEMONSTRATIVE ADJECTIVE. “Este” is the masculine singular form, because “sitio” (the noun it is connected to) is masculine singular.
