In Trump’s translated tweet, “no fueron obtenidos” (were not obtained) is an expression in Passive Voice. The Passive Voice is when the subject (in this case, the votes) receives the action of the verb instead of doing it. LEARN TO MAKE SENTENCES IN PASSIVE VOICE!
In Paris Hilton’s tweet, both verbs “era” and “eran” are Imperfect Tense for the verb “ser”. We use this tense (among other things) to make descriptions in the past. LEARN AND PRACTICE THE IMPERFECT!
